the gear i use part 2

i wear a dye i4 face mask it is one of the most high end face masks out there for the reason that they are low profile and are comfy to wear for long derations of time and they all come with a dual pane lens so that it wont fog. i just have the black one.they all come with a bag to put the face mask in when not in use.

Now on to my gun i run a Magpul pts kwa lm4 with a Madbull trx rail and a m6 flashlight lazer combo and a NC star red dot scope. Sometime i will have to go in depth about my rifle. The gun came stock with a black finish and i painted it tan. The gun is ran by gas so it sucks in the winter.

what gear i use

well for the most part i do not run lots of gear in fact i run a vary little amount of gear just anough to carry some mags or my primary and my side arm and a holster. i do not run a plate carrier insteed i use a chest plate and a belt. on my chest plate i have a duboule stacker m4 mag pouch and a triple pistol mag pouch and on the back strap that goes around my lower chest i have a dump pouch for me to throw mags in there or whatever crap i havae in my hands. on my belt i have a stacker m4 mag pouch and a ak mag pouch acting as a dump pouch and a holster.

i run a small amount of gear compered to some people. one thing different about my load out is the fact that i run a chest plate instead of a plate carrier or chest rig. I do this for the reason that is is smaller and near  weight less and it fits me perfectly do to the fact that is set up like a chest rig but much smaller. the only side affect is that it is not good for load barring and  the means that it cant hold lots of weight and make it comfy so thats why i run a belt to so i can store more mags at a place that can store weight easily. the camo is mixed match and thats because im broke.

The New Guy (or girl) list Part 2

So lets say you dont want the KWA cqr well then you could go with this gun
the g&g combat machine raider that is what G&G call there beginner guns here are some pics
Combat Machine M4 Raider Shorty w/ Polymer RIS AEG Airsoft Gun ( Tan/ CQB )
the nice thing about these gun are they are only $168 with a batttery and charger(at airsoftgi.com) thats a great price i paid more then that for my first gun and it was not even close to  as good as the combat machines. two of mt friends have this gun and they all love it. Myself I have used it for many hours and love it the only thing I have agenst it is the inner barrel.  I felt the acreses was a little weak but it fine. They are nice and light but fell very nice in your hands. with 450 rounds in  the included magazine you will not need to reload for games. i love these guns and i would love to see more people with them and maybe they will be happy to. btw the in comes in black and tan soo pick what you like best what works best fir the enverment you play in.

The New Guy (or girl) List part 1

Ok  I talk to some nice people over at Airsoft Battle Grounds and I was talking to them about were to start when you are a begnier. So now i am makeing what i am calling The New Guy (or girl) list

The New Guy (or girl) List

First you need a gun then you need a face mask and then you need tac gear (if you dont know what that means then look at my older post :) )

Gun- when you first start you are not going to want to cash out a lot of money at first when you buy a gun i would try to stay away from the gas blow back pistols and smg (sub mussine gun) and the rifles. What i would want to buy would be like a good aeg not to nice but something with some power to it and when i mean power i dont mean fps (feet per sec). a lot of new people think fps is all what matters but that statement is not true there are many things like rps(rounds per sec) and what that is how many your gun can spit out per sec or you can find rpm (rounds per min) and all you have to do is divide that by 60 and you will have you rps. but that is beside the point here i will post up some links of good but not the pricey. these guns are some that i love to pay with

kwa cqr
this is a gun i love it has a gear box ( the thing that make the gun shoot) is out of a $350 gun and it kicks butt i love this gun and i wish i had more hands on time with it i love it that much. but the gun is still light weight but something a lot of guns around this price range is that is has a metal upper reasser and a polymer lower. it is a nice touch. but one thing about it dose come with a mid capsity magazine so instead of holding 400 rounds it holds 120 rounds but you dont have to wind it but you do ave to use a speed loader. Here is the link and some pics

that was the KWA cqr mod  n2ow they just released the mod 1 and here is a pic
KWA M4 A1 CQR MOD 1 Airsoft Gun
Now you must be thinking what is the difference well one has a longer barrel and the other has a shorter one it doses not matter which one you pick it is just  which one you like more. handol both of them if you can so you can decide which one you like more.

gear

gear well there is all sorts of different kinds of gear. airsofters call there gear tac gear short for tactical gear. the point of having gear is for the most part to carry magazines on to the field and some time water and other stuff like jackets food, bbs, air tanks, green gas or propane.. there are five main kind of gear i will make a list

1 plate carrier
2. pouches
3. backpacks
4. holsters
5. vests

plate carriers,  in the past there name sums it all up but not now. the plate carrier was made for carrieing ballistic plate (ballistic plates aka body armor are made to stop bolits) but in airsoft there are no need to carrier the plates senice there are no bulites  flying at you. the carriers have this thing called MOLLE to sum up what MOLLE dose there are rows of webbing on the plate carrier and you weave your pouch on to your vest. so airsofters use the system to carry mags on them just like the miltery dose. her are some picuters of plate carriers

OE TECH Defender Plate Carrier ( OD / Tactical Vest )

pouches are the the thing that holds the madzines for you gun and they come in all sorts of sizes and shapes some are for holding magzines some are for holding water bottles or you flashlight and knife or medical gear or what ever you want them to hold here are some pic the one on top is for holding mags the next one is for holding a water balder
OE TECH M4 / M16 Magazine Dual Molle Pouch ( OD )OE TECH Hydration Carrier ( OD )
back packs are used to carry more thing they are not common to use.in airsoft there is no need to carry a tent of cooking gear or other stuff but they are used to carry air tanks for classic type of airsoft guns i use a tac gear back pack for school i use one like this for school
OE TECH Fuel Hydration Pack ( OD )
holsters there are a poop ton of different kind of holsters made out of all sorts of different kinds of stuff like plastic and leather we use holsters to carry your side arm ie your pistol they hold them safe and are most of the time easy to draw from the holster. another resen why we use a holster is so we can draw are side arm fast. most of the time you never use your side arm you have it with you in case you main arm goes down ie jams you run out of rounds or whatever so you need to get to your side arm fast a with a holster you can do that. here are some pics i use a holster like the one in the first pic i like it because there is no think need to work it so that mean i can draw fast every time all i need to draw my side arm is to press the butin and pull out and when i need to re holster it all i have to do is push it back in to the holster. the one in the second pic there is nothing holding the gun in beside the presser of the holster holding it so you draw i vary fast the one in the third pic has a thum break system so with that kind you have to press the lever to pull out the gun and when re holstering the gun you push it in and then move the flap over the top of the gun so this makes for a slower re holstering then the two above it. the forth pic is the cheapest one you can get it is the slowest one to.

vests well as you can guess there are lots of different kinds to a vest dose not hold a plate most of the time and a lighter then plate carriers. the subject vest also includes chest rigs in my eyes a chest rig is the lightest way to go most of the time there is o no back and they do not cover all of your chest like my chest rig it is very small and light the one bad thing about chest rigs are they are not very good with dealing with weight unlike a plate carrier witch is very good at doing that. most of the time thay have MOLLE on them like the plate carriers. here are some pics.the one in the fist pic is like the one i use a vary small and light weight chest rig. the rig in the second pic is what a chest rig would look like. the one in the third is a vest that you would see alot of time.
OE TECH Chest Panel ( OD / Tactical Vest )Airsoft GI BCT-3 Essential M4 / AK Ammo Chest Rig ( OD / Tactical Vest )NC Star Crossdraw Tactical Vest ( BLK )
i will talk about all of these subjects more in depth over time thank you for reading and i will be posting more airsoft good ness over time

face mask

alright next thing on the list is face mask. a face mask is something that protects you face and mouth and teeth. most of the time people play with paint ball mask and that is fine. in fact my loewca store JF airsoft and paint ball sell paint ball mask to airsofters but there are more options to airsofters. some like to were hard plastic face mask as they protect you best but there is one con to useing a hard plastic face mask is that you can not aim down your sights wich you need to do if you want to shoot the uposing team. a hard face mask looks like this so to get around that they use a low profile face mask now these are some of the most pricey options to face protection. but some dont have the money to spend on a low profile face mask so they use something airsofters call mesh. what mesh is it is a two part face protection system. the first part is a mesh lower piece the protects you mouth and nose. the second part is the goggles or some use safety glasses but that is not acteble as they will let bbs pass though the bottom of the glasses and the top as they are not sealed unlike a face mask. most felds will not let a player play if they are wearing safety glasses. goggles are sealed so no bbs can pass though the top or bottom. here are some pics of low profile face masks and goggles and mesh

the game of aisoft for you who do not know what it is about

Alright airsoft is a sport and a hobby for some. but none the less it is were most of the time were two teams go head to head in some sort of envierment. That may be indoors like airsoft battle grounds in door feilds are most of the time smaller the out door feilds and are called CQB. cqb stands for close quarter combat engagements are closer then out door play. Engagements are when one or more players try to elmante the one or more opposing players. Out door play is called field. Field is played out doors it might be in the woods. It may have buildings or not.
what you use to play this i will make a list
1. gun
2. face mask
3. gear (aka tac gear)
4.bbs
5.what your gun needs to work

alright the number one on the list a gun i will break them down in to different groups by how they work
AEG
A aeg works off of energy from a battery. Aeg stands for automatic electric gun . they tend to be the most  type of gun on the playing field. They are cheap to use and the mags old more and are cheaper.

GBB
A gbb uses gas to operate the gun. gases that are used are green gas propane co2. Gbb stands for gas blow back. this what most pistols use and smgs and some rifles. but mags cost much more then a aeg mag
SPRING
Spring powered guns are the cheapest way to go but they have to be cocked before each shot. there are cheap spring powered pistols and there are cheap spring powered rifles. But there are spring powered sniper rifles they can be nice and very nice i am talking $800 + some people put in to them to make them last longer and shoot harder farther and what not.

the second thing on the list a face mask. a face mask is a must have to play it is what you use to keep your face looking the it is. oh and so you can still see. they run about $20 for one but can cost more.

Hi i am Nick aka boss

Alright this is a blog for all those hard core airsoft techs and players . What you will find here will be like tips and tricks and videos of a some sort of airsoft gear. that may be like tac gear (plate carriers B.D.Us, pouches and more), flash lights, magazines, sights, optics ( scopes, red dots, holos). Gun reviews. now a little about me well i have been playing for 5 years. Three of those years were back yard games and the outer 2 years are at Airsoft battle grounds. I started like most playing in a back yard with Big 5 guns. But when i started to get in to it i wanted something with more punch like a A.E.G (automatic electric gun) i will call that type of gun by aeg. Back on to topic i found sites like airsoftgi.com and evike.com and showed me the big world of airsoft these sites were filled to the brink with aeg, gbbs, gbbrs gear, parts for you gun, scopes i was sucked in just wanting to know more about how theses guns work and were i could play this not just in my back yard. Then i  found about this place called JF airsoft and paint ball a airsoft store in my town  i had to go and see what they had. Well lets say it was hard to get my mom or my dad to take me but after some time my mom gave in drove me there but would not go in. Well as soon as i walk in my head was filled with all sorts of questions. still to this day i still have questions. Then i wanted one of those guns on there wall but had no money so i work my ass off and it payed off. About 15 to 17 hours latter i had $125 to buy me one of those guns but the ones at JF were to much. Why well you see JF adds a one year warranty to there guns so that picks the price up some and them do not order the huge amount of guns like airsoft gi so they do not get that big of a discount so that picks up the price some to. Well if i wanted the same gun at Jf it would be like $160 instead of $125 so i bought the gun online. With that gun i kicked so much butt but my friends that played were starting to stop playing. And there came the year of not playing at all. At that time i did not know about Airsoft battle grounds and i think it was not even open yet. Then i met some guys that had airsoft guns but there parents did not let them play. So we shot at all sorts of thing cans, trees head sized targets and then we started to play but with no bbs. And a little latter we started to play. It was a blast running around in teams it was the best. but one time when i was in JF i found a flyer to this place called airsoft battle grounds. Then i went to there and it was so cool a indoor field set up like a building. plywood everywhere i loved it. So that is how i got to this day.
